Are there certain zip codes I should stay away from?

It isn't that it's a legal non-conforming, but it is non-legal altogether, and he listed it as a multi-unit for sale.That's a violation of the RE code in every state. 

I give fedex, ups the code and they drop the packages in the hallway.  

My concern is about finding something that is to code eg Romex for say 18ga.

Question: Is their a resource that has data on Rent Rates and absorption rates within a specific zip code??

It helps everybody calibrate their advice to the next person.I'm not sure that installing it over the carpet like that was even legal (building code), but there you go. 

if so do they have egress windows to be to code?

The appraiser has valued some of my other properties in the past, and I've always been happy.I'd like to give him a gift to show my appreciation, but don't want to break any professional ethics code of conduct, or make it seem as if I'm paying him off.
