If I move forward, I plan to hire a top-tier inspector and specifically flag the basement work as a concern.

But while I’ve never bothered to test for radon, one you get to triple the “safe” rating I would start to get a little concerned.

When I raised my concerns, the founder accused me of "playing games."

If you want cash now you have to be extremely involved doing your own management and maintenance.

So get a feel for what the tenant is actually concerned with:  is it simply to save a few dollars, or can they no longer afford the current rent? 

It is becoming extremely unsightly as they continue to build and will eventually bring tourism/desirability down (in my opinion).  

If anyone can give me any suggestions, I'd be extremely grateful.
