Anyone who thinks syndicated ventures are sure-fire wins 100% of time, there just telegraphing there ignorance.

The question is, AFTER the broker/dealer learns (via social media, newspapers or however) that the sponsor has defaulted on loans and the principle is at risk, does the broker/dealer have an affirmative fiduciary duty to inform the investor that the investment may be in serios trouble?
