Partnered with 3 other guys to flip this house. ARV looking to be around $315,000 with a $50,000 rehab budget....

This seemed like a good deal in good area for first one under my belt, but it took capital and was something of a lateral play.

Fix and flip is a great strategy, and you’re right—funding can feel like the big unknown at first until you get a few under your belt. 

My first thought is house hack to get your feet wet and a property under your belt.
