Italy has three big negatives from an investment standpoint which I think you should take advantage of.

I also rerouted downspouts into a new more modern drain instead of letting them drain into the foundation tiles.   

This isn’t necessarily a dealbreaker, but I’d like to provide both myself (I plan to house hack) and my tenants with modern, comfortable living conditions.
