Owning Investment Property & Disqualified from HUD Property???!!!
So, oddly enough I have found myself in a position where I do not own a primary residence...and I'm looking for my next owner-occupied property...which happens to be a 4-unit FHA foreclosure. The listing agent claims I am ineligible to submit an offer because I own other non-occupied investment properties (well...my LLC's do anyway).
Has anyone ever heard of such a thing???
Additionally, he is claiming there is a 2-yr owner-occupant requirement? Does this exist?
