Marketing: more than one site?

I have a very busy life and want to be hands-off with my vacation rental. A friend of mine owns www.codylodgingcompany.com so we will let her manage everything.

My question: is it worth advertising on other sites like AirBnB to gain additional exposure?

@Nathan Gesner, yes I would advertise your place on VRBO/HomeAway and AirBNB.

What kind of percentage are you paying your manager? Are they taking care of everything? Do they have a booking fee? Will they waive that if the nightly comes in from another source?

Did you speak with them about it? I am just curious if they would be unhappy "competing" with other sites for the bookings.
