New Member!!!! Advice Please!!!
Hello All!!!
I'm happy to be a new member here at Bigger Pockets!!
I would love any and all suggestions on real estate investing books as well as books on real estate taxes. Any help would be much appreciated.
Currently reading "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor".
Thanks!!
Welcome Clayton! The Millionaire Real Estate Investor is IMO the best book to start with. If you're interested in flipping, then Flip and The Book on Flipping Houses are also great. As far as buy and hold, I would recommend Jeffrey Taylor's The Landlord's Survival Guide as property management is critical to buy and hold.
Welcome to BP @Clayton Ator If you like to read there are several good book lists here on the site. Some forum posts as well as blog posts talk about good books.
Congratulations on taking your first step to real estate investing. Check out the blog "The 21 Beat Books on Real Estate Investing".

Hey Clayton,
I'm currently reading "Real Estate Advantages, Tax and Legal Secrets of Successful Real Estate Investors."
I'm about 1/4 the way through and I feel like I'm being exposed to all kinds of really good Ideas. We bought it at 1/2 price books for pretty cheap.
I also read "Landlording on Auto Pilot". It's a little dated but still really good book on creating systems. He also talks about the importance of getting a good CPA that is familiar w/ Investing.
Hope that helps!
@Clayton Ator Welcome to BiggerPockets!!! I love that book, a ton of great information and value you will get from it.
