Currently, I am pursuing education for Licensed Real Estate Agent for New Jersey. To be an Agent we need a broker to sponsor. I am not sure what broker I should approach as there are so many.

What Broker do you suggest new agent should go for?

I think Keller Williams is an excellent brokerage for a new agent. They have tons of training available, generous commission split, excellent company culture, and profit share.

I'll agree with the KW recommendation, even though I work with RE/MAX. KW seems to have a better training program for new agents. When you get established then different brokerages might meet your needs better than KW.

Coldwell Banker, KW are great in training and mentoring. The commission  split is something you need to consider after you have transactions.

Rule of thumb, do not go to discount and small brokerages the agents there are too busy and will not mentoring you although they say they will. Mentoring is not free to you. You are assigned to someone and learn to do things right. He gets a split from your commission.

The first year is critical. If you can not sell you are unlikely to last long.

This is how I picked my brokerage. I looked to see who the number 1 brokerage in my market was.....then I went to their top producing office.  If you are around a bunch of top producers you have a much higher liklihood of being successful.
