Tenant keyed Stainless Steel Stove
Is there anything you can do about the scratch marks made all over a stainless steel stove? Functionally it works.. but dang. Deposit will take all of other damages left.

You can buff out scratches with a baking soda paste, a stainless steel scratch remover like Bar Keeper's Friend, or a small amount of toothpaste. Always buff in the direction of the grain with a soft cloth to prevent further damage. You can even use a really fine-grit sandpaper.
This video demonstrates how she repairs a stainless steel sink and it includes before/after images for comparison at the end.
