@David Dey what sticks out about what you said was, "I've been pretty much ruined for a 9-5." When you know the difference it does ruin the "regular 9-5 job.  I know I dont want just a "regular" job. I want a business that is successful and lets me do things that i choice to do to enjoy life. Instead of living the rat race of 9-5 and barely racking it by.  

@Jay Hinrichs wow lucky daughter to have a dad like you. yes you should be proud of her, she has done well. Kuddo's to being able to put her through without her being loaded down with debt. :D

there is this piece of property i have had my eye on to own. well it is suddenly on the market... and i am not ready. I have no way of getting this carrot that has been dangled in front of my eyes.  AN AWESOME  price deal too... and its too bad, under another circumstance they would owner finance to us, but they are forced to sell it. its owned outright i cant give details as i have an idea i have yet to try. 

What are some ways you have non traditionally aquired a piece of property?

@Jay Hinrichs you misread me.. or i miswrote.. I just meant that i like you. your go get em. and as for the education... I am not against it persey cause many can get somewhere with it, what i am saying is that education is not the only answer that its made out to be. I dont know about now, but back in the day one was brought up that college or military was the get all. 

I like the self taught motivators who went out and made something happen. 

all i am saying is that college is not the get all. It is an avenue for some. But it sure does create debt that one is stuck paying for most of their lives.  as also operating any kind of business is not everybodies thing.

@Stuart Birdsong i like your reply, "I just laugh and respond with, when I am ready to enter the life of boredom I guess then I will have a real job." lol  :D it is great when you can do what one enjoys and make money at it.
