Well, thankfully I did not have the same issue. That said, thanks for sharing the experience. I did see a guy in all leather and a top hat, which was pretty scary : )

That's a great hyperlink, thanks for sharing.
Yes, I was just back in that area today. I wanted to see the area during a different day and time.

@Patrick Cruse, perhaps you can find a different bank, which does not have a minimum price sale price. I was speaking with a mortgage broker recently who indicated his bank had no minimum. PM I am happy to provide more details.

I am wondering if the more knowledge Indy investors could provide some insights. Taking into consideration local government efforts, milennials lifestyle, and ongoing trends. Where would you invest if you were just starting out. Also with the knowledge you will be posted back overseas in about 2 years and likely not return to Indy. My issue is selecting the location to invest - the more I learn about Indy the more complex the decision is becoming. Am I too late to the Fountain Square/Mapleton FC area? I was also looking to invest outside the 465 loop; specifically, in Lawrence/Speedway areas, however, the possibility added bonus of appreciation closer to the city, in FC and MFC is really alluring. Welcome comments, suggestions, directions on post or PM.

Elia, thanks for the suggestion. Yeah the Woodruff Place neighborhood is on the border of 46202 and 46201, just north of Arsenal Heights. It is only a small area couple blocks each way. Again, thanks for the recommendation.

Wondered if fellow Indy investors had any insights into the Woodruff Place neighborhood/area. I have been driving the area and although it has some "rough parts" just west of Keystone some of the homes are really spectacular - to the east of Keystone. Wonder if more experienced Indy folks could shed some light on where to pick up more details regarding the city's plans for the area beyond the neighborhood website. Ultimately, I am looking at the area for buy and hold. Thanks in advance.

Hi Richard, I am a native Central Pa, however, moved out but remain connected to the region. I have used McConnelly and Asbury and find them to be very professional. Best of luck with your endeavors.

@Aaron M Cloe, welcome to BP. It sounds like you are starting out or at least that is what I am assume. There are free online courses, located under education tab, offered on this site. They are basic but a nice first step. Additionally check out the BP podcasts in which wholesaling is specifically discussed. Each podcast has a brief description, which will help you sift through and locate the best ones (i.e. Most applicable). Best of luck.
