If you can start creating wealth for your future family, then why not. Have you thought of house hacking? Instead of a trailer, buy a duplex. Live in one and rent out the other.

Ask your agent. I always provide my clients with a couple of inspectors to contact or do a google search. Look at their review or call to build rapport.

I agree with both. A newer investor may not have a team to rely on if something goes wrong. By advising them to start with a new construction they avoid, hidden surprises and the initial rehab work. They also reap the benefits of new appliances, among other things.
