Hey Daniel,
Best of luck to you! I would highly recommend getting involved with an investment based broker and getting your MA license. We have great success on MLS with our team. It's worth the investment. Getting started early will set you up for great success down the road!

Hello Bigger Pockets Community!
My team and I currently have 5 new projects under contract in Boston, MA and we're looking for private lenders to assist with the gap financing.
These properties are home runs and your loan would be secured by a mortgage on the property. Please reply or message me so I can give you more details.

We work in Boston and you are right @Peter Pezzano. It's crazy. I know the returns aren't as high but there is such a demand for affordable housing. Investors are getting a substantial amount of money from the city along with grant money to make these deals happen. Just a thought.

My team and I closed on our first reno on March 22nd of this year. The house had a fire and I had gotten the lead by door knocking in the neighborhood. Yes they were living there even though the house was a wreck! We negotiated the short sale ourselves as agents and picked this gem up for $90,000.
We wanted to be involved in every step, so we had a GC pull a permit and subbed out every contractor ourselves to learn the process. This was a full gut renovation, we couldn't really save anything in the home. Needless to say, it had it's ups and downs but we're scheduled to close at the end of September, 2016. We went to P&S with a full list price offer in 8 days, no inspection. Crazy right.
We should net a 30% ROI with about $75,000 in profit. It was a crazy first rehab win.

Hey Bigger Pockets Community!
I don't know how it has taken me an entire year to get on this forum but here I am! I quit my job to go full time 12 months ago. In my 12 months as an investor, I have completed 6 wholesales, purchased 1 three family, completed my first full gut renovation (closing this month!!! 30% ROI! WHOOO!), and am currently working on 20 units! Some of them we have closed on, some are under P&S, and some are currently being renovated!
Real estate has changed my life and my future personal growth has went through the roof. I've learned so much, met so many great people and built a truly amazing team.
I highly recommend you make the jump if you haven't already! Invest in yourself and commit!
