Quote from @Graham Scott:

Hi,

I´m Graham. Looking to build a team and get started in Orlando with single family homes and small multifamily for long term buy and hold cash flow.

I live out of State.

I´m looking for an investor friendly agent, property manager, contractor, plumber, etc.

Starting a team from scratch and looking for the best possible talent to help me make my Real Estate passive income dream a reality.

I´ll be at the BP conference in Orlando next week, flying in Saturday. So would like to meet local Orlando people when I´m there to try to fill the spots on the team and would also like to see some open houses is possible as well, to get to know the area and some of the current options.

Thanks very much, look forward to meeting you!

Hi Graham, should you decide to add STR to your Orlando portfolio, I am happy to help!

How is the market in the Orlando area for short term rentals and multifamily?

I'm heading to Bcon and would like to visit some potential properties around the vicinity.

Any reccomendations for agents to reach out too?

Thanks in advance!

I would love to connect. We manage 50+ properties in the Orlando market and performance varies based on location, theming, pool, location within the resort and many other factors. Last year, even a very basic property with a few Disney decals on the walls could still book. This year, that’s not the case…but the right property, themed and staged well and in the right location will perform. Happy to meet up at the conference and share some insights!

One of my biggest concern is that I don’t know much about the laws and the papers to start and I work 4-5x12/week. I Will have to learn it before I manage the property

Raissa, Send me the address and we can help you figure out the regulations for that specific area!

Quote from @Samuel Pascal:

Hello,

I am from NYC and I am looking for rental properties in Orlando Kissimee area. Anyone know if Townhomes are worth looking into?

Thank you.

Good morning Pascal, absolutely a townhome can be a viable option for STR. We have many that perform well. Keep in mind there is a lot of inventory out there and uniqueness is a key factor. Townhomes with pools perform far better than those without. Theming is a must. If you can find a corner unit with more privacy, or a townhome with a lake or forest view - all those factors come into play. Feel free to reach out and we are happy to provide a helpful map of recommended communities, along with revenue/occupancy reports on specific properties as you get further along in your search!

I need help! I am on a contract to purchase a 4b2b single family home which I am planing to do STR/LTR but I am not familiar to the area and I don't know if it will work in the area. The property is in Kissimmee, my goal is to furnished and rent out the rooms. If someone is familiar to the area can he tell me if the area will be good for STR/LTR??

Raissa, Kissimmee has areas that are zoned for STR and other areas where you could only do LTR. PM me the address and I will let you know. I can also send our map of recommended communities!

Thanks for the info man. That was a great write up. What your describing, is what I'm leaning toward. Buy a house already furnished.

Then get the theming and game room done.

Just make sure you inspect the furniture carefully if you go this route. Some decorators use absolute garbage. We see (literally) chair legs falling off in a month, "leather" movie seats delaminating in a year....the list goes on and on.
