Morning BP,

I am refinancing my multi-family and the closing cost are being included in my loan, is that something my accountant can depreciate over time or write off all at once on my 2021 taxes?

Thanks

Afternoon BP,

My two unit multi-family had two back to back months of a 1000$ water bill. We fixed a slow leaking toilet; hopefully that fixed it. We talked to a plumber and because of the way the house was plummed, it can't be split up. Looking for your ideas. I thought about 12000 gallons total will be allowed, and anything over that they will be charged the overage.

Thanks Andrew

Evening BP,

I have been watching RI RE especially Aquidneck Island and it seems to be due for some type of correction, I was wondering if anyone else felt the same?

To recap,

-I have to report any dividends received durning the calendar year even though they were reinvested. Unless it is my Traditional IRA, correct?

-Also, even though I have a good amount of dividends my real estate should offset my AGI?

Thanks.

I have an ETF that and own a couple of individual stocks so I should have been reporting that on my taxes then?

Thanks Aaron & Ashish.

Evening BP,

Want to reinvest my dividends from my brokerage account and if I reinvest it within the calendar year do I avoid capital gains? So, technically I am not taking any realized gains.

Thanks.
