Hey Matt,

It will cost no money, I will use my GI Bill while on active duty. I like Finance but, I really don't need it to be in real estate. I was thinking maybe getting my real estate license instead.

         I want your opinion on whether or not I should finish my second degree in finance? I already have a BA in Political Science and a minor in Finance & Business Management. Is this even worth it?

         Thanks for the advice. I love real estate and I just want to get in the industry part-time and start now, picking people's brains when it comes to the inner workings, as well make a little extra money on the side, the thing is I am an active duty Marine. Now I have a pretty flexible schedule working at Quantico so it's not unreasonable. I am just looking for something a couple hours a day after my workday or during the weekend. The employer doesn't' even need to provide me with any benefits.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions as a side-job? I am an active duty Marine looking to make a little extra money living in the Fredricksburg VA, area. I already have personal experience with real estate investing.

Morning everyone,

           Thanks for the responses. My brother's wife will manage the Airbnb, she has a property management business herself. My brothers' construction business will be building the garage and the Airbnb will be on the second floor. I am going to be just the 'investor,' because I am still on active duty.

         I am investing in an Airbnb with my brother. I was wondering how should structure this and what should I watch out for moving forward?
