Hi Casey McCoy I'm new to REI. Can you explain what "turn key" is? Thanks!

@Jake Gaines @Joseph Laguerre You all have some good info from the others in the discussion but to provided a little extra here are a couple of links for some more insight on selecting an entity for your business. I am also trying to decide what will be best for me and my business. If you look at my post above, give the book by Sutton a read. It will be very beneficial. Even if you just skim it and just read the parts about scorp and llc. Good luck to the both of you.

Jake Gaines you can also have an LLC that is elected to be taxed as an S-Corp. If you want check out "start your own corporation" by Garrett Sutton.

Nick Feliciano thank you! If it's decide to use them I definitely will mention your name. Thanks again.
Paul Birkett thank you for your suggestion. I have done just that. I read "start your own corporation" and have a really good idea of how I want to go about starting my business. Thanks again! Good luck to you as well.
Paul Birkett I am looking for someone to help me set up my business. Explore whether an llc or scorp would be appropriate and the pros and cons of each within real estate investing. CPA for taxes and such. Thanks. Hopefully that clears it up:)
I am looking to find a CPA and attorney who's real estate investor friendly and who has dealt with real estate investors before. I currently live in Joliet. So I would like to find someone who's located in the southwest suburbs of Illinois or any surrounding area to me. If you have any recommendations of your own or know the best way to find and contact these professionals please let me know:)

I know this may be not the exact forum but I wanted to put this in the real estate professionals category, with that being said, I am looking to find a CPA and attorney who's real estate investor friendly and who has dealt with real estate investors before. I currently live in Joliet. So I would like to find someone who's located in the south west suburbs of Illinois or any surrounding area to me. If you have any recommendations of your own or know the best way to find and contact these professionals please let me know:)
