@Anthony Ford Thanks for the reply! So how do I find out if the contact is assignable because that would be one of the first things I should find out before actually analyzing the deal to see the numbers and see if its a deal that would work for me. I may have a potential wholesale deal/opportunity from a FSBO.

Stephan,

Thanks for your reply. So you could very much so just find a buyer who would like to live there and assign the contract to them? And they can just finance it with traditional methods? I guess I was just unsure of the process from getting it under contract through finding a buyer.

@Stephen Chatto I know this is an older post but I just came across this. I am new to real estate investor and trying to learn more about wholesaling. Can you also wholesale to other investors or are you only looking for cash buyers? Thanks!

I have a question regarding the topic of wholesaling. How does it exactly work? I understand you get it under contract and then find a buyer (investor) but does the cycle keep going? The price will eventually be too high if it does and no one would want to wholesale it from you correct? New member from Illinois. Thanks in advance.

Welcome Erik,

Rich Dad Poor Dad is the book that initially sparked my interest and got me thinking about my financial freedom. I am in the surrounding area and I am a new investor as well. Welcome to Illinois. Goodluck on your journey.

Hi everyone,

Angelica here from the Chicagoland area. I am new to real estate investing and I am anxious to start my journey. I am looking to connect with other investors, real estate professionals such as real estate agents, brokers, etc., and meeting with investors who have experience in real estate investing and wouldn't mind chatting and letting me "pick their brain".  I have a broad mind set and I am interested in many different areas including foreclosures, wholesaling, fix and flips, rental properties and more. I hope everyone has a great day and I look forward to connecting with you all.
