@Christian Chasmer, congrats on success in Boston. I am a CalBRE Broker, Private Lender & Investor here in San Diego. There are definitely some opportunities in San Diego, but there is a ton of competition. You need to have a strong team in place that can take advantage of economies of scale. It also depends on the type of projects you plan to focus on and how you can add value to maximize your exit. The key is always being able to find the property at a good price to allow room for the value add. We hold Meetup groups at our renovation projects for people to learn about the business. People love it. There are a few groups on here that have events in San Diego. You should be able to search pretty easily. One of the groups is hosted by @Tim G.. They host great events. Hope that helps. Cheers!

@Connor Martin, I work with a team that holds Meetup Groups in San Diego at our rehab projects to go over sourcing properties, the rehab of subject property, ARV analysis and networking with like-minded individuals to gain more knowledge about the process. There are a couple of other groups on BP that hold these type of events as well. Feel free to DM me for more info. We have an event coming up this Thursday.

Thanks @Manolo D.. Let me know how I can help @Gabriel H.. I am a CalBRE Broker based in San Diego and I am also a direct private lender that lends throughout CA and a few other states including Texas. As for the LA property, I can be a finance resource, but looks like you are trying to go the conventional route. Timing may be an issue, so private lenders can usually close quickly for you to get the deal closed and then you can have the private lender possibly finance your rehab in an effort to maximize cash flow to then better qualify for longer term conventional financing. It really depends on the actual property and your motivations. Best wishes.

Are you ready to take your real estate career to the next level with an experienced real estate brokerage that has opportunity for growth?

Did I mention we have tons of real estate investment experience with over 200 flips in San Diego County over the last 6 years.

We are looking to hire a CalBRE licensed real estate agent to join our San Diego, CA Team. Great commission splits, investment listings to generate leads for our agents, & training available. No printing fees, desk fees or technology fees.
