Perhaps you could reach out to the RALA-the residential assisted living academy, while they teach, perhaps they know of someone in the NY State area looking as well for a connection.

Suggest you connect with Justice Jacobs, here on BP.  He is an operator in GA, and maybe able to give you some info about ALF/ALR's.

Just wondering if anyone else has heard of and/or has this designation.  I am working on obtaining commercial training and looked at the CCIM designation than came across CCA.  Just looking for the usual (if you went this route, was it worth it or would you do again, etc. thx in advance for your response)

Suggest you call the number for RALA in Gene's response.  Sorry to say he had not responded, as he passed last October. 

RALA is a very good value, although my experience it thru the 3-day in person.
