Check out RALA (Residential Assisted Living Academy), for some info.  There is also a gentleman in San Antonio the San Antonio Residential Assisted Living group, and also a Zoom meeting (Denver Area Assisted Living - DAALR) for Assited Living Facilities/Residences on the last Wednesday of each month-except Sept and December currently, and these are recorded on the FB page for you to watch later.

 I think a land survey is important.  They should show any improvements visible and above ground upon the lands in question, at the time of survey, in relation to the property lines.  Any fences encroaching, or weaving in and out of you, and neighbors sheds that got put up on your side of the line, that gravel path, that happens to be partially on the lands of another-sometimes you.  Think of it as an outside home inspection.
