Welcome to Bigger Pockets Rodney. I'm still looking to do my first deal as well. You have come to the right place to obtain information and inspiration. Goodluck on your endeavors. Explore all BP has to offer. You can get overwhelmed with all the information available. However, just focus on the areas of investing you wish to pursue.
@Michael Mullins , Thank you for the contractor referral, it's always good to hear feedback on their work. Is your project a Rental or Flip?
@Joey Sullivan , Thank you for the information. I would be interested in looking into funding for rental properties as well. I will email you for the HML referrals.
@Vern Darlington Thank You for the HML recommendation. I'm assuming you had a great experience with @Joey Sullivan.

Hello Ray,
When I purchased my primary residence last year, I also had to provide about 2 months worth of bank statements. Also, they want a paper trail of where your down payment is coming from. You'll have to be creative if you have "mattress money". If someone is gifting you any money that person would also have to show that they actually have the money & that you're not giving it to them to act as if it's a "gift".
Hello @Kwabena Ackie , where are the two properties in Temple you just purchased. How did you fund the purchase?
