Hello everyone i'm a newbie and looking to buy my first duplex and do a house hack. does any one have any duplex in the peninsula area or any nearby surrounding area. my wife and I was pre-approved for 491K. Can you get financing on a foreclosed or pre-foreclose property . What will be the best way to buy this property if you don't have money to pay for it cash?

I live in San Francisco Bay Area market which property prices are tremendously high. I wanted to get started investing  in foreclosure or pre-foreclosure property. Could someone please advice me the best way how to get started?  Thanks
