Hello,

I am currently looking for private money lenders for a multi-family investment deal and have posted mainly online. I am wondering how to verify the legitimacy of private lenders as I have questions about giving out personal information. What steps should occur as I go through this process to ensure my personal information is safe?

Thank you,

Hello,

I am trying to complete my rental property calculator using the Bigger Pockets PRO tool but it will not let me remove the cost for the PMI. I do not need this as I will be using a private money lender, not a mortgage company such as a bank. Does anyone know how I would remove this so I can get the most accurate calculation as I do the report?

Thank you,

Brooke

My partner and I are local real estate investors based out of the Rhode Island area and currently we are working on closing our first multi-family rental property. Right now, we are searching for long term investors, private or hard money lenders, who would be willing to help fund our first few fix and flips.

If you are interested in working with us, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and showcase our business plan as well as the potential properties that we have analyzed.

Welcome Mariann,

One great resource in our area is the Rhode Island Investors Meeting, held every third Thursday of the month at the Hilton Garden Inn in Warwick. It is great for networking, finding cash buyers, as well as getting recent news about properties in the area.

As previously mentioned, two great books that I have referenced are J. Scott The Book on Flipping Houses and The Book on Estimating ReHab Costs. Both have been very helpful when I begin investing and working on deals.

I look forward to working with you. Best of luck!

Richard
