@Christina Webber make sure you know the regulations of the market you are looking to enter. Some communities welcome STR's and some are restricting. I prefer markets that have regulations in place as opposed to the ones that don't because the ones that don't might add them and then you could have to live by new rules.

@Kevin Gunn what part of Myrtle did you invest in? We are down near Surfside beach and love the area.

@Mark Miles and @davidfaulkner are exactly right......know the regulations of the market on STR's. I have learned the hard way with some (Lake Placid, NY) and prefer markets that already have regulations in place (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Lake Placid market sounds similar to your NH options with that 3-3.5 season place with skiing in the winter, vacations in the summer and foliage in the fall. Spring is lighter in bookings so that's when we use it most. :-)

@Stephen Scire we are using evolve and have been for almost a year. They helped us set pricing and things started slowly but have picked up in recent weeks. It does take time to build momentum unless you are inheriting some bookings. We do love your market and spend at least a week In Ogunquit vacationing each summer.
