Hi Everyone -

I learned about BiggerPockets in the summer of 2018. After that I learned about syndication and real estate investing with the Real Estate Guys after listening to Monik Halm's inspiring podcast (episode 306: https://www.biggerpockets.com/...).

As part of this journey I have become active in Oklahoma City's local real estate investor group Millionaire Possibilities. All of these steps have been transformational on my journey to be a better Dad, Husband, and Investor. In the middle of 2019 I learned about Robert Kiyosaki's Cash Flow game. I started playing with my wife and was blown away. I had a degree in finance and economics from a Big 12 school, owned several single families and a multi family property, and yet every time I played that game I learned something through the simulation that helped me invest and run a better business. Looking around I didn't see that anyone was hosting a cashflow game in Oklahoma City anymore so I decided to start hosting one to keep learning and growing with others.

No matter where you are on your investing journey I think getting together with other investors and sharing ideas is a principle for growth and success. If you are in OKC or don't have a local group you are connected with I would like to invite you to learn and grow playing the cashflow game once a month. @Alex Cardenas I am happy to send you my bankers info. There are also some private lending options available depending on the scope and size of your project.

Hi Everyone -

I am getting ready to contract on my first multifamily property. We are purchasing 3 duplexes all next to each other. It's like a small 6 unit apartment. Are there any good check lists for inspections on multi-family properties? Lessons learned? Best practices for inspecting each unit while they are occupied? Any tips, guides or check lists are appreciated. Unit is in Oklahoma City. Thanks!

Ben

@Deborah Burian Thanks. We will attend @Paul Choates meeting this month. My only constraint is I work out of towns on Tuesdays and often struggle to get back to OKC by 7pm. I will arrange my schedule this month. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
