Foundations are always a major red flag for me! I would echo @Melissa McRay Johnson on having a solid quote (or two) on hand if you're proceeding with it for yourself or wholesaling.

Are any of you jumping on the Remine bandwagon? We've been given entry level access as realtors in Indiana and I'm tempted to try upgrading my account in order to generate mailings, learn about neighborhoods, etc.
If you're using it, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Someone on another site suggested that I attend every local REIA meeting over the next 6 months and reach out to the active members to see if I could help them with anything(investing/bird dogging/office work). After 6 months if I did not feel I had made enough contacts to educate me or didn't have enough information to pull the trigger on a deal myself, I should then consider the program.
I started attending meetings and right away I met a veteran wholesaler who lead me through my first few deals and I have since networked with many others and learned a great deal along the way. I would say you try the same thing.
All that being said, I have since met a handful of people who have taken the course and are very happy with it.
Best of luck.
Chad
Thanks, Chad and others! You all have been super helpful!

Thanks, @Mike D'Arrigo. I appreciate your insights on him. His website certainly gave me the vibes that a sales pitch would soon follow in his material. I concur, $40k seems like way too much to spend. Especially considering the wealth of knowledge we have here on BP for no cost!

Have any of you heard of Than Merrill? I just saw an ad on Facebook saying that he was offering real estate training seminars in Indianapolis. Have any of you attended? Just curious to see what you all thought.
Thanks!
