@Phillip Dwyer what part of town are you in? And where do you primarily invest?

New to the Vegas market and looking to connect with other investors here.  So far I haven't been able to find anything.  Looking to get started in investing, learn as much as possible, partner up, boots on the ground, whatever it takes.

Anyone know of anything in the area or interested in connecting?

This market is nuts, we experienced it when buying our house and helping some family move here as well. Competitive isn't the word, and very different than NYC.  Even with how things are though I still think there is better value for the money here in Vegas over NYC.

Now our goal is to hit the ground running here in Vegas and learn as much as we can (hands on work to go on top of everything we have been learning over the past year).

Open to any advice and/or connect with people to get things moving.

@Nicholas B. what type of investing do you or your team work with? I like the idea of jumping into multifamily over SFR and looking to work with people with experience.

@Erick Daniel Alvarez has your team done any investing to this point or would this be where you start?  I'm new in Vegas and looking to work with others and can be the "boots on the ground" for a good team.

Looking for a SFH in the Arbor View High School district in Northwest Las Vegas in the $350k-$425k range. Looking for something not on Zillow or Redfin. Already have an agent who is showing us a lot but trying to see if there is anything out there not yet online.

This will be my families primary residence. Any insights, advice, or properties please let me know.

Thank you

@Joe Daigle @Phillip Dwyer @Account Closed agree on all points.  I think once some restrictions are lifted there will be a lot more on the market.  Vegas seems like a good long term place to invest right now.

@Jeffrey Donis where is this multi family group run out of? Is it a Facebook group or another platform?

Interested in learning all I can about multi family investing.

Thank you

@Jamie Garcia is this a $25K coaching course?

I read his book and really enjoyed it and felt I learned a lot, really changed my investing mentality, but I agree with @Josh J. that I don't love the charging to review deals.

Curious what others feel they have gotten from the paid course.  That just seems like A LOT to give anyone for an online course.  I'd rather work and learn more by doing than put that much resource into another learning tool.

I've been watching the Vegas market over the last year and there has been a lot of ups and downs in home prices.  Yes, a lot of people are heading into Nevada from California but a lot of jobs have been lost within the city.  I'm heading there soon, from NYC, and personally can't wait.  I think there will be a lot of opportunity there over the next few years.

If possible, please post the link to the article, would love to see the details.

Thank you
