@Elijah Artman I would recommend that you get a mentor and then from there with their guidance you start to build your team and by having this mentor you are able to leverage off their experiences in what to do and what not to do. At least that's what's helped me the most so far in this journey. We can talk more offline about it if you'd like feel free to pm me. Also, word of mouth referrals when building a team also goes a long way.

@Rama K. Charlotte, NC and the submarkets of it bc Charlotte seems to have steady job growth year over year, low unemployment, and a diverse job base. It's also the second-largest banking center in the United States and is home to seven Fortune 500 companies.

@David A Perez It would depend solely on the numbers. For a larger property you would want a third party property mgmt company on it because if its a large propety you probably have investors involved so you want to hire the experts to manage the property the right way. As far as self managing goes, in my own opinion I think there is too much that goes on in that as if you outsourced it would free you up and allow the experts to do their job, and then allow you to focus on what you do best / run your business. So overall I think no matter the size unless you're living on the propety and its a quadplex, I think your property management company should be outsourced.

@Jason V. Thanks for the advice, I'm definitely immersing myself in knowledge and studying real estate investing. I'm moving back to Dallas in 3 or so months and that's when I plan on taking massive actions to get my first deal done and then so on and so forth. Being that I just started learning this stuff a month ago I think if I can just study for 3 months and then move, that would be the best time to get started.
