I may not have worded it well or understood the initial statement. from my understanding he was saying someone was filling out an application in their name, so an illegal immigrant could live there, but not actually the person filling out the application. Or am I totally reading the wrong? If I'm not then I don't see how that could be taken as discrimination.

Not trying to refute your claim, just better understand.

I wouldn't just because it is not a complete application. Def wouldn't let someone else fill out the application for the individual who would be living there. I suggest you deny and keep looking.

I use tenantcloud. 9 bucks a month for online payments for you, free for tenants, and a bunch of other stuff. It is a full property management cloud based software though. I enjoy it.

Didn't we used to be able to look back on old rental calculations? I know it was pro for PDF files, but I could of sworn that as a Plus member we could get around five that we could go back and edit. When did they change that? I don't remember seeing an announcement about that. Or was it just silently done all sneaky like?

My fiance and I pooled our money into a joint account. Then proceeded to use the same account to each buy rental properties me with VA, her with FHA. We will be using the same fund again to purchase another FHA for me, and conventional for her.

The pooled money gives the illusion that we have a lot more money than we would individually. We use separate banks to finance, and the lenders are none the wiser. If we were married this of course would not work, so we are trying to pick up as many properties as we can prior to marriage. Keeps us from having to gift eachother money too which is nice.

And of course we just bounce back and forth on whichever 4plex we are staying in that night. Works out well for us.

End of the day we spent 20k to buy 8 units worth 1 million that cash flow about 1k/month after expenses with us living there. Can't wait to move out and do it again!

Hello! I was wondering if anyone had a reccomendation for a good eviction lawyer in Anchorage AM? just bought a property with an individual camping out in the unit who is not on the lease. Tenants were supposed to move out by the 15th, I showed up and belongings still there. Don't believe it to be the actual former tenants but a friend of theirs. Posted notice, just looking for a good lawyer. Planned on treating it as an abandonment since I have not been able to get in contact with anyone either former tenants or current.

Thanks!

I use tenantcloud. Free website, online payments for just $9 a month. good tracking. Its a work in progress, but does the trick and has a lot of potential.

Listen to the BP Podcasts, get book ideas from them. I pay 15/month for audible and just listen to audio books on real estate etc at work all day. The podcasts and audible have helped me signifigantly. I obviously read the forums a lot too. They can also be a wealth of information. do a search for good books, I'm sure something will pop up.
