@Brittney Lundeen, I would vote for Jacksonville but I am a bit biased having lived here for 15 years. The Julington Creek area of town is great as well as Mandarin and both have low crime rates. Let me know if I can provide any further information. Best of luck!

Kirt, you may want to take a look at the Jacksonville market as well. Certainly lower costs than California. Congratulations on starting your residency and welcome to BP!
