I always look at the numbers, if you are building a two car garage for $8k and are able to get $75 per door @Anthony Angotti is right that is the going rate you will be getting $150 per month.

$1800 % $8000 is a 22% ROI so it might not be a bad idea, I know if I where to hire someone to build a two car garage it would cost about $15k and my ROI gets cut in half and probably is not worth it for me unless I wanted the garage for myself.
