@Danny Smith oh I just read the title. Hard money doesn't usually check your work history like a normal lender would

@Halle Hughes hey Halle check out the millennial investor focus group on Facebook. They have 100's of recommendations to fix this issue. And it is a local Minneapolis group so the recommendations are more helpful.

@Kenneth Freire airbnb is very location dependent and home dependent. You can check sites like airdna to get an estimate how profitable your airbnb would potentially be. Just make sure to note airbnb is very seasonal and in Minnesota will often times break even in winter months. Also make sure to have an amazing cleaning staff, I do have a reccomendation if you want it.
You could also do rental arbitrage. I know a lady quite successful at that in Minneapolis. Has the upside with no extra work.

@Patrick E Plowman what will said. Learn, learn, learn. Get a full time job asap maybe even think about taking a year after high school graduation and just work full time so you can qualify for a mortgage and house hack. This will put you further ahead than people taking out 100 grand in student loan debt

@Justin Gustafson $80,000 in cash is definitely enough to buy a property conventionally. Would love to have a conversation and see what you're trying to do and why you haven't been able to do it

@Ali K. You can not evict a tenant for non payment of rent. I would consult an attorney about what would happen if the moratorium is not extended.

@Annie DiCenzo
Minnesota’s eviction status is at the whim of the Peacetime Emergency which was extended to January 13.
MN Executive Order 20-79 is the current rules on evictions.
Executive Order 20-100 extends Peacetime Emergency to January 13.
