Hey @Eian Trenkle, I'm actually dealing with the same issue on a STR of my own. Our PM has Wayfair reps that can help with design, but you'll want to make sure you get the white glove service from them to assemble for free. Either way you'll need a local PM or designer to make sure everything is laid out properly if you can't oversee it yourself. Contractors/Handymen usually aren't to great with design lol.
Feel free to reach out. Maybe we can share strategies!

Hey @Marquise Killingsworth, what type of loans were you considering? There are far too many variations of loans that you could use for a rehab which can get confusing at time. Feel free to reach out, I'd be happy to walk through the details with you.

Hey @Mary Wells, I've house hacked several times, it's a great way to begin your RE investing career! I'd caution you on the condo as a rental. Many are under strict HOA bylaws that may limit the number of rentals or eliminate the type of rentals (STR/MTR) which can crush your business plan.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like to talk about strategy and financing. It may be more simple than you think, so I'm happy to share my experience and recommendations.

Hey @Jessica Lopez, once your Airbnb is optimized, then I'd suggest speaking with a few lenders to see what you could get on a cash-out. Loan rate/terms get complex once you hit that 5+ unit property, so you'll ideally want to work with someone who can help on both sides of your plan.
I'd also consider MTR as an option for a $70K property. Run the numbers and see what that may look like. It's always good to have a backup plan!
Feel free to PM if you'd like to chat sometime about your plan.
