If the numbers work go for it. I was finding 12% Cap rates in Charlotte 2 years ago but now its more like 6-8% easy...but you will find a 10%+ from time to time. Also look at your cash on cash return ratios

All SC investors should keep in mind that non owner occupied homes in SC are charged a triple property tax. Still a good place to invest.

Ballantyne area is the newer southern most area in Charlotte. Extremely high demand with great schools. Above average pricing compared to the rest of the city. currently the in constructing over 2000 homes and businesses in the area.
To answer your question it would helpful to know you price point.
