So do I have to wait till after closing to put my "Rent to Buy" sign in the yard?

Hey folks sorry if this comes off as a stupid question. But im dealing with a seller we discussed terms and a day for me to come out and view the property. She asked "when will I take possession of the home". Could someone kindly explain what she's asking. I thought I took possession after closing.. Thanks in advance.

Should I have the property inspected the same day I plan to view the property?

Thanks @Nathan Gesner When you say "subject to your inspection one week prior to closing." Do you mean simply have the property inspected one week prior to closing?

Hey guys and girls. Im setting up a potential deal with a seller... She and I agreed to the terms and are ready to progress . She told me that the property is occupied and they are not on a lease. Is it ok for me to ask the seller if she can evict the tenants  so i can put a rent to buy sign in the yard.

Ok so I have 2 owners who are wanting to sell their properties to me. One via Land Contract ( dont have the details on the deal as of yet) and the other on a Sandwhich lease option.  Since this is going to be my first deal. Should I do both or should i just do one. Thanks guys and gals.

@Tom Gimer should I be asking for their attorneys mailing information?

So if the attorney sends it over. Should i be asking for the sellers attorneys name and address?
