I’m looking for a mentor to help me avoid those costly mistakes. I’d rather split a deal with someone with experience than try to do it on my on to keep 100 percent of the profits. But I’d also like to partner up with a like minded person to do a few deals as well. And no we’re not working exclusively with Fema. We’ve do a few flooded houses that weren’t Fema contracts.

Hello everyone I’m a local investor here in the Houston area. I currently own a duplex and I’m looking to continue investing. I started a construction company last year. We’ve been rehabbing flood homes in the area. We just landed a few contracts rehabbing homes for Fema. I figured since i have a couple crews doing rehab work that I’d try my hand at the fix and flip concept next. If anyone knows of a good mentor in the Houston area i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi I’m looking for a mentor to help guide me in on journey as a commercial real estate investor. I was gonna stick to small multi family homes but I believe I can step it up and start investing in apartment complexes. I’m here in the Houston area and I ready to get to work. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry guys I've been working like crazy the last few days. But I want to buy a duplex. Buy and hold is what I'm planning on doing. I don't own a house as of today but I have a duplex here in houston under contract that I'm planning on house hacking for a year. I'm a new investor but I'm ready to get out there and get to work. I'll be buy my first property in Detroit as a JV partnership. Networking in Detroit with a seasoned investor is my goal. Thanks for all that took the time to read and reply.
