Quote from @Nathan Gesner:

Have you looked at Etsy? Go to their website and search for "landlord spreadsheet" and you will see hundreds of options. Some of them are very fancy and can track everything. Less than $10 will get you a very handy tool.

I recommend reading the reviews and looking for one that can handle 5-10 rentals so you don't have to change to a different tracker as you grow.

Wow, that's a great tip. I wouldn't have thought of going on Etsy. Thank you so much!

I did a Google search and came across this one. Looks pretty good, completely free, and can track multiple properties.

BiggerPockets has a File Place where users can share files, but I don't know that it's still active or available through a menu search. Go to https://www.biggerpockets.com/... and use the search tool to see if you can find anything there.

Thanks for sharing these links, Nathan! I know this is an old thread, but it's exactly what I was looking for : )

Wow, just came across this list. Thanks for doing the work to round these up! I've read quite a few, but am now pinning a few more in my Amazon cart ; )

Post: Cross border accountant? Canadian investor in US

Hi there, I’m looking for cross-border real estate professionals who have experience helping Canadians buy investment properties in the US. I’m buying rental properties in Ohio.

Specifically looking for a cross-border accountant, and legal counsel to ensure I get the right paperwork sorted to minimize double taxation, and related cross-border issues.

Any other Canadian investors have experience with this, or accountants here who specialize in supporting with this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I'm an investor from Canada, and will be flying into Cincinnati for the first time next week to check out the market. I'm planning to explore the different regions of the city with the aim to identify specific neighbourhoods that would work for my investment goals (ideally a value-add multifamily, for long-term to mid-term tenants).

Are there any agents here that would be open to connecting, to provide a read on market opportunities? I'm looking to establish some roots in the region – splitting my time primarily between Ontario, Ohio, and Montreal – so hoping to connect with real estate professionals with a solid grasp of the market to inform a long-term investment strategy in Ohio.

As a Canadian - would be great to connect with folks that have facilitated investing cross-border.

Thanks in advance!

Elise

Hi Elise, welcome to the Ohio market! You should check out Ohiorem.com there are a lot of good resources on there including neighborhood articles around Cincinnati, along with educational videos on how to build your team. Including how to find a deal finder team member, an investor minded realtor who can help you find deals on and off market.

Hi Steven, thanks so much for your note here, your site looks great, will definitely give it a closer look over the next few days. Would love to connect further to hear your thoughts on the market given your focus on the area, will DM you. Thanks!

Hi! It's great that you're exploring Cincinnati. I'd recommend trying as well Columbus and connecting with local agents who have experience working with international investors. They can provide valuable insights and help navigate the cross-border investing process. I have a few Canadian investors that I am working with. Feel free to connect if you have questions.

Hi Robert, thanks for your note here. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on Columbus as well, will connect in DMs here.
