@Kyle Hipp

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread, I actually got a call back from one of the letters I sent out! So between analyzing that with my mentor and dealing with my first sinus headache I've been a little preoccupied.

Here is the letter I sent out. I would especially love your's and @Rick H. 's input on this as well as anyone else that would like to chime in. I listened to show 67 today and Tim Gordon's answer to the last question of the famous 4 really hit home to me. His answer was "awareness" and went on to say "There is a certain level of awareness within certain individuals that allows them to succeed." So having you guys here to give me your prospective I believe can hopefully provide me with some additional awareness!

@Rick H.

Thank you for your input, very wise advise to put your self in the seller's shoes. I think @Michael Quarles has a good point about unique pieces. But, say I am to send them a follow up post card, how would I ensure they would remember me or make the same connection? Could I possibly have a similar lay out to the post card as the business card I included in the first letter? What are your thoughts on this Rick?

Looks awesome guys!!! But one piece of feedback from me. Can we get a slight or shadow like border around the new on landscape photo on the profile page?

@Michael Quarles hey thanks! I guess this is something I will have to develop on my own then. I think I'm going to start out with once a month. What type of post cards do you use?

I just sent out my first batch of letters today =D I was listening to Show: 71 and noticed that Philip touches base about 5 times in 5 months.

So how often and for how long do you continue to send out a letter to any one lead?

@Rick Harmon

I'll have you know that I actually have paid for a little training in regards to probate. I do apologize for misreading your post earlier. I really appreciate your input, advise and taking the time to make a post in my thread. Though I don't understand why you are so defensive to such a vague statement. You could literally say that for anything. My intention was not to upset anyone here and the last thing I would like is for this thread to turn into something that is unproductive or not pertinent to the topic.

@Kyle Hipp

@Kyle Hipp My mistake, I misread his post and thought he wast literally saying to say shut up and listen to the PR. I actually already have a solid letter that was written under the guidance and influence of a mentor. Good advice about talking to them Kyle, I've actually decided to mail them and then call after they receive the letter and follow up with them. And I've decided to approach them more as if I'm providing a service that helps them determine and weigh their options vs. I'm just here to buy your house.

Actually if requested I wouldn't mind pasting a copy of my letter here. Then you could all critique it. Is that allowed?

@Michael Lemieux Yes! I have decided to just mail to them and the ones I have phone numbers for, I will call and follow up after they receive my letter.

@Rick Harmon Not sure if I can appreciate that type of humor here.
