Hi BP family,

Hope you are all well

I just received via mail the awesome book by Brad Turner on "Rental Property Investing" and have listened to the audio version. This book is eye opener and I love it. Will read thoroughly on the weekends as I have a full time demanding job. My goal is to have build a good size portfolio of SFH in a A - B class neighborhood and have a property manager (PM) handle it. My sis and I just got 1 in Elk Grove, CA. It's a 4 BR 2.5 Bath house in a nice neighborhood accessible to free way and has quite a lot of fun things to do nearby.

Guys, I need some help on a PM in Elk Grove, CA area. Do you have any recommendations? I have a questionnaire that my sis and I will ask potential candidates based from Brad's book and added a few of my own. Right now, we're contacting PM base on their Yelp reviews and will start interviewing, here are the candidates based on Yelp

1. Sac City rentals

2. Eagle Property Management

3. Realty Roundup Property Management

4. Key Realty Center

Any recommendations from this list? If not, any recommended PM that you have used or currently use? Thanks all!

Best regards,

Fernando

Hi BP family, I'm planning to buy my first investment property with my sister in the Bay Area. I'm planning to buy in Fremont, Hayward, Union City but with my budget it seems that I can only buy condo or townhouse (if there's any left) which we plan to rent but HOA brings the bottom line to negative and doesn't make sense even if we plan to hold for a few years. I'm going through the podcast #200 step by step guide in buying 1st investment property and its very helpful, happy to hear from you good folks! Your input is much appreciated. By the way, i have a full time job so I may have to have a property manager handle the day to day ops, also does Sacramento makes sense? SFH or Condo? Pre approved until $700K but wanted to be conservative budget is $350K. Thanks all!

Hi Linda Lo saw your reply to the thread. I'm new to BP as well and my sister want to buy our first investment property together, wanted to get your thoughts on this and see if we can connect. Happy to bring you to lunch or coffee and network. I use to live in UC but bought my house in San Leandro with my family. Now sis and I wanted to expand. I have realtor but not too investor savvy which is fine. Anyway happy to chat over email as well, cheers!
