@Brian Adams

Amazing story! I would love to get into multi-unit investing. I'm still trying to figure it all out and build my network to do so. There's so much competition and job growth in my area. I'm not much of a numbers person and with you having a CPA background I'm sure that helped tremendously. Great read. Topics like this are so motivating. Congrats again!

@John Tu Nguyen

That book is on my book list. Thank you for your thoughts and perspective on this topic. I think reviewing your goals are super important as it continues to remind you why you began the journey in the first place. It is definitely a marathon which I'm totally okay with. And at some point everybody has to pay their dues.

Thanks! @Ross Ellington

@Bhekizwe M. Agreed!

Wow! I am loving these responses!! @Bob Couture @Ross Ellington

Thanks so much for sharing.

What has worked for me are the following: fitness, when things are dragging fitness gives me the endorphin's that I need to put me in a great mood. Attending REIA has been super helpful because it reminds me to be involved, be active and connected. I'm in the process of growing my network as I don't have any friends that are into real estate or many of them aren't positive thinkers. I've been reading a book a month which has also been helpful, sometimes real estate and sometimes just personal development.

What I'm realizing is your endurance is tied into your faith/belief (whatever that may be) that you will achieve the goals that you set out for yourself. But endurance is conscious, active, reflective and you always have to remain engaged. When it's low, like a gas tank in a car you need to fill it up.

I'm curious to find out how do people maintain their endurance. Whether they are starting out or are super experienced. I understand a big enough why will help you to sustain endurance but does anyone else have other ways they maintain their stamina? This could be not making enough deals to making more deals than expected in a given month.

Thank you in advance!
