Post: Las Vegas Condo Conversion?

What's up everyone! So a partner and I are planning to purchase in Vegas and I've been looking into different possibilities for us. One idea that came to mind is condo conversion. I am a Realtor here in the Bay Area, CA and I know condo conversion is HUGE here, turning a 2-4 unit property into individual condos and selling them off to individuals, typically at a more affordable price than the typical high rise condo. I've been searching the internet to see if condo conversion is a thing in Vegas and what it takes to convert. Anybody have any insights for me? Thank you!

Does anyone have an idea of what neighborhoods the students who go to Louisville live in?

Hey hey! I am a new Realtor in the Bay Area, California. I have heard that it is good to get a LLC or S Corp as a realtor. Currently, I have neither and I need to get that changed. So I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the benefits of either option and which one I should get. Thanks!

@Edward Sharp I just ordered David Greene's book. You were the second person to tell me to read it just today. I appreciate the share.

@Catherine Emert These questions are great! I had a meeting today and didn't mention a few of these, but I will definitely use for my next meeting. I specifically like the 8th one. I never thought about asking for a contract, but that should definitely give me an idea of all that being a part of the brokerage entails. Thank you for your tips!

Hi everyone!
After a 3 month delay, due to state shutdown because of Covid-19 and my exam being cancelled, I can finally say that I am a licensed Real Estate Agent in California! Woohoo!! It feels so unreal!
I am currently setting up meetings with brokerages here along the Peninsula in the Bay Area, CA starting this week. Question for you all, what are some things that I should be asking brokers and looking out for in these meetings?
Can't wait to get started!
