Hey all, I've decided to host the event at the Starbucks at 403 W 3rd St, San Angelo, TX 76903.  I assume we will start off small and hopefully grow to a larger crowd, once that time comes ill look into a more appropriate place.

Hello BP,

I've posted in the New Members forum but thought I'd poke in here as well.  I am new to the area and was simply looking to connect with people.  Since I did not notice any Meetups in the area I deceided to start one of my own on the Meetup website.  It will Aug. 2 at 6:30 over at the Starbucks off of Bryant Blvd.

However I just wanted to put my information out there to see if anyone had experience in the area or even wanted to partner up on a deal.  I will be focusing on fix and flip properties to build up capital and eventually get into buy and hold properties.  With that being said I am certainly looking for General Contractors, Wholesalers, Title Agents, and of course funding.  So if you are in the area or know anyone in the area please reach out, thanks everyone.

@Daniel Sperry yes certainly check out EPIC, it is a great group with people from all walks of life there.  They even offer Deal Nights which I believe are once a month or maybe weekly which people can come in to present deals or offer up partnerships.  Lacy is the head and she is wonderful.  Best of luck over there, I just left El Paso last week.

Hey Todd, I apologize I didn't realize you had replied. I checked out the property, why don't you give me a call when you get a chance so we can talk in more detail.

Being in the Military I have had a chance to experience living in quite a few places.  Surprisingly enough my most recent move to San Angelo Texas, which I had a lot of resistance to moving had probably been my most pleasant one thus far.  The people are super friendly, the winters get down to maybe the 40s but that only lasts untill the sun comes up and then its right at 60, hardly ever snows and when it does its 2 inches that fall over night or early morning and is melted away by noon.  Rio Cancho runs throughout the city and there are parks set up all along the river plus San Angelo State Park which has a huge lake.  Land... dirt cheap, I am looking to get started into real estate here and may very well plant my roots here for the long haul.  The only thing I think San Angelo doesn't have for you is a lot of woodland, but I have not had a chance to checkout the state park just yet, but that's on the list for this weekend.

Plus, I need a partner so come on down!  Hahaha but seriously Savanah, GA is certainly my number two place.  I am just not sure as far as how much real estate is down there, I believe it is still relatively affordable down there.
