I work out of my home and use my title co. or broker conference room if I need to. However, I would say I meet 90% of prospective sellers in their home or the home that they are selling.

I found a local paper supply store (not Office Max or Office Depot) and negotiated bulk pricing. I got directly with the owner which helped. I know your volume is much higher than mine; however, if the store is ordering product anyway what is another truck load. :)

Return on your marketing can vary wildly especially in the beginning. People that have been mailing for several years usually get the highest returns on money spent. I am assuming the reason for your question here, but I think one should pick a group, list or what ever to market to and develop a long term plan to do the marketing based on the amount of money you will have each month. I think one should start out with one group, list or whatever and stick to it to understand all the dynamics that go into a marketing plan.

@Larry Littrell I tried to search and couldnt find but there have been discussions about using your web site (brand) in direct mail marketing. There are some, @Jerry Puckett included, that say do not include the web site. And there are some that have opinions stating yes very much so include your web site (brand) on every letter. I tend to agree with Jerry and do not include my web site except for maybe after the first 9 months of mailing. Nothing is 100%. I got a great deal from the first mailing that went through my web site. However, overall, I think it is best to leave it off.
I agree with what @Ibrahim S has stated; however, there are those such as @Dev Horn, who believe brand is extremely important.
I think what one should take from all this is take massive marketing action and learn how to improve that marketing by reading on BP. There are key elements in marketing that should be adhered to, but as important is to be creative, consistent and be yourself.

@Samson Kay I agree with @Paul Sorgi to keep the address in your letter. I am in the process of updating my letter series specifically to have them build upon each other better than they currently do, so I appreciate the example Paul.
