Hi BP Community! After 10+ years of owning, managing, & consulting businesses in Iowa & Texas, I moved to Denver and have given my full time attention to REI. I've been educating the **** out of myself with BP articles, forums, podcasts, and books. Thanks for making this community great and teaching me so much!

I am specializing in buy and hold multifamily 3-20 unity properties in the North Colorado Area including Greeley, Evans, Windsor, Wellington, Lyons, Erie, & Estes Park.  I love partnerships and hearing any helpful tips / suggestions. 

I'm interviewing my first CPA's & attorneys.  I would like to know of pros & cons of having the same person be both my CPA and attorney.  Also, pros/cons of hiring a local CPA &/or attorney vs a CPA &/or attorney that is out of state. It would seem to me that a local professional (or at least one in the same state) would be better suited to the laws of that state, but maybe I am off in this thought.  Thanks for your help. 

Great Meetup last night!  I really appreciated and enjoyed all of you that I got to meet and conversations we had.  To those I didn't get to meet, I look forward to it in the future.  Thanks to everyone who came and made the meeting possible for me, and especial thanks to @Bryan O. for doing the leg work and hosting!
