Hello,

I have a detached room on my property that I rent out on Airbnb and Furnished Finder. I want to add a bathroom so it can be an ADU. Do I still need to apply for an ADU permit even though the room is already built, and I bought it that way? If so, who would I contact in this state? I'm in the Olympia area.

Thanks,

Greg B.

Hi Jack,

I'm an investor in Olympia, WA and currently househacking my primary residence. My plan is to keep leveraging my VA benefits to keep buying small multifamily homes and keep repeating the process and join syndications to invest in large multifamily projects to help my wife and I get financially independent. While I'm trying to accomplish that goal I would like to change jobs and work in the real estate field in some capacity starting in the beginning of 2022. I do have my license but don't want to be an agent or broker, also I am doing my own research but still don't know which field ( home inspector, appraiser, lender, etc) to get started in and help me learn more about real estate. I know you don't know me but if you were a college educated military veteran with a broker's license which entry level job in real estate would you pursue in the pacific northwest? Any advice would be appreciated!

Hello everyone,

I’m a new investor and my house is a single family house that is split into two, 3 bedroom on one side and studio with a bar area and own bathroom on the other. I’m going to start house hacking by renting out the studio side in June and want to make it have it’s own address. For example the numbers on my house are 2309 and I want the studio to be 2309 1/2. I can’t find anything on google, is there any way I can fractionalize my address?

Post: Putting our House Under LLC

Hello,

My wife and I are new investors. We sold our last home, bought a new one, and are currently turning it into an Airbnb. We just launched an LLC and want to put our first 3 investments, including our current house under the LLC. Just taking a shot in the dark here with this question, but can we put the house into an LLC if we purchased it with a VA loan? Or do I have to wait a year to refinance then do it?
