@John D. - do you happen to have a contact for a person or company that will move, unpack, and assemble furniture in a home (to aid in furnishing)?

Hi All,

Happy holidays! I've been looking online at Indio's vacation rental rules and regulations and I can't seem to get clear answers on a few questions. Any of you happen to know?

    • -What areas in Indio are okay for investors to buy a single family home and use it for a vacation rental?
    • -Are there any restrictions on how many vacation rental bookings I get per year?
    • -How many vacation rentals can I have in Indio?

Thank you so much!

Gulliver

@John D. will do!

Also, does he cover all over Coachella Valley like Indio and other areas too?

@Frank Rolfe understood. Did your tenant-home owner residents (who lost their homes due to the tornado) end up buying used mobile homes or new?

Yes, for sure I'm going to put a Cap Ex and repair percentage per month in my expense calculations. What percentage do you recommend to put per month for each @John Underwood

What kind of coverage do you have? Do you have liability, fire, damages? @Michael Stebnicki

@Joe Splitrock great input. What percentage per month for each would you plug into a monthly STR expense spreadsheet for supplies, linen replacements, furniture replacement?

@Eric Bilderback nice! Did you invest in a 1, 2, 3, or 4 bedroom STR?

Thank you,

Gulliver

Hi All,

Can I please get any recommendations of RE attorneys that specialize in Palm Springs vacation rentals :) I'm in the process of purchasing a property in the area for the purpose of vacation rental and I would like to make sure I'm doing everything right (in terms of STR rules and regulations). Thanks so much!

Best,

Gulliver
