@Abbas Raza The issue you have here is that you are looking to banks for conventional financing. Banks do not specialize in mortgage loans, they just offer them out of convenience for their customers. You need to connect with a conventional lender that specializes in mortgage loans. Mortgage Bankers, not the same as a bank, specialize in mortgage loans, have thousands of products, and the loan officers are educated since they require licensing in order to do their job. Going to a bank or credit union just limits you in more ways than one.

@Garlin Smith Go Bucks and good luck!

@Eric Schmid Welcome to BP. I learned the trade by working as a laborer for local home builders while going to school.  Once I graduated I had a business degree and knew exactly how to build a house.

@Antonio Biasiotta thanks for sharing this opportunity. I work with a lot of investors in that area and will be sure to let them know of the opportunity. Thanks!

@Dana Salter yes you absolutely can. You can also actually qualify to buy a home while in a chapter 13 bankruptcy. How long have you been in the bankruptcy?

Good luck @Adam F. Flipping might be tough for you if you travel 100% of the time. You might want to consider buy and hold as a way to get things started due to your travel schedule.

@Sharron Anderson welcome to the BP community. I wish you the best of luck. I unfortunately do not know much about the wholesale market in Chicago.
