@Meghan McCallum Hoyt Park is a good idea. The beer garden could also be an option. Or, an outdoor setting like Cafe Hollander or something similar. I have been to group meetings/get togethers at Jimmy's Iguana Island Bar/Grill @ the Radisson.

@Dhru Das @Meera Lakhavani @Stefanie K. It depends on the lender. If you find a direct endorsed Fannie and Freddie mortgage banker with minimal overlays, the minimum would be 15% for s SFR. Anything more than a 2 family would be 25%.

@Derek Luttrell Not a sales tactic. Just an opportunity for you to hang onto more cash. Cash is King. Most people focus on the interest rate being as low as possible when obtaining a mortgage loan. Not really the best way to approach a mortgage loan transaction. It all depends on what your intentions are. If the rent payments are covering part of the mortgage, it's a no brainer to me. Take the cash.
